A Wearfit Pro watch call rings on the wrist, and you talk through the watch's own microphone and speaker while the phone stays in a bag. It takes one extra step the first time: a second Bluetooth link just for audio.
Refreshed September 2026In Wearfit Pro, open the device tab and switch on the Bluetooth call (or call) option, then accept the pairing request for the watch's audio connection. On iPhone, tap the watch's call entry in Settings, Bluetooth if it does not connect by itself. After that, answer, reject or dial on the watch; text replies from the wrist work on Android only.
A Wearfit Pro watch with calling talks to the phone in two ways at once. One link carries data for the app; the second carries your voice.
That is why a calling watch often appears twice in the phone's Bluetooth menu, once under its plain name and once under a name tagged for calls or audio. Pairing the watch in Wearfit Pro sets up the first link. The second needs its own yes.
The phone is still the one making the call. The watch borrows its mobile signal over Bluetooth, so calls stop working if the phone is out of range or switched off.
All three pair with Wearfit Pro; if the watch is not yet in the app, start with the Wearfit Pro app setup.

Typical behaviour of Wearfit Pro calling watches; the reply limit on iPhone comes from iOS, which does not let third-party watches send messages.
How to pair watch call in Wearfit Pro takes a couple of minutes, and you do it once per phone. The watch must already be bound in the app.
That is the whole Wearfit Pro watch call setting. The menu wording shifts between app versions and watch models, but the option always sits among the device settings, near notifications.
If an incoming call switches to the watch when you would rather use the phone, pick the phone as the audio output on its call screen. Many people leave the call link on all day and choose the device call by call.

The best moment for a wrist call is the one where the phone is out of reach: hands full of shopping, a toddler on one hip, a bike ride home. The watch rings, vibrates and shows the caller's name.
To make a call, open the phone app on the watch. There is a keypad for numbers, a contacts list and a recent calls list on most Wearfit Pro watches. The E07 names contact sync in its features, so favourites from the phone appear on the wrist.
On the AW83 and the other AI watches, the voice assistant can also start a call by name. Speak, check the name on screen, and the phone dials.
Keep watch calls short and practical: confirming a pick-up time, telling someone you are five minutes away. For long calls the phone or earbuds sound better and save the watch's battery. The AOC E07 and Yihou AW83 spell out their call hardware in detail.
The white E07 names its call hardware: a built-in speaker, noise-cancelling microphones and contact sync. Calls come through the watch while the phone stays in a bag or on the kitchen counter.
Have a lookHow to text on a Wearfit Pro watch depends on the phone more than the watch. Everyone gets incoming messages; sending a reply is where iPhone and Android part ways.
Incoming texts and chat messages arrive as notifications once the app has access. The E07 lists SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok among the alerts it shows, and the Z17 names WhatsApp, LinkedIn and Messenger. Tap an alert to read it in full on the watch.
The Yihou AW83 lists replying directly from the watch among its features. Presets suit a quick answer at a red light or in a meeting.
There is no full keyboard on these watches, and typing on a 1.43-inch round screen would be a chore anyway. For longer answers, a call from the wrist is the faster move. Alert settings live in the app; the app permissions decide which messages reach the watch.
A watch speaker and microphone sit a forearm's length from your mouth, so a few habits make a big difference to how you sound. None of them need extra settings.
The E07's noise-cancelling microphones help in a busy space, and a steady Bluetooth link helps more. Walls, bodies and a phone deep in a backpack all weaken the signal and can make a voice cut in and out.

The watch's audio link is not paired. Switch on the Bluetooth call option in Wearfit Pro and accept the second pairing request, or tap the watch's call entry in the phone's Bluetooth settings.
No. The watch uses the phone's mobile connection over Bluetooth, so the phone must be switched on and nearby.
No. iOS does not let third-party watches send messages, so iPhone owners read texts on the wrist and reply on the phone. On Android, watches that offer quick replies can send preset answers.
Allow Wearfit Pro contacts access, then open the contacts option in the device settings and choose favourites to sync to the watch.
The AOC E07, AOC Z17 and Yihou AW83 all make and receive calls through a built-in speaker and microphone.
