- 1.96" AMOLED · square face
- Take calls right on the wrist
- Faces and alerts set in Wearfit Pro
A Wearfit Pro watch has no crown to pull and no clock menu to fiddle with: it takes the time, date and language from your phone every time it syncs. Get the phone right, connect through the app, and the wrist follows.
Refreshed September 2026Open Wearfit Pro with the watch nearby and let it connect; the watch copies the phone's time, date and time zone on every sync. Switch 12-hour or 24-hour in the app's device settings or through the phone's own time format, and the watch language follows the phone's system language on most models.
How to set time on a Wearfit Pro watch surprises people: there is nothing to set on the watch. The phone is the clock, and every sync through the app copies its time, date and time zone to the wrist.
That is the whole Wearfit Pro watch time setting for most models. The watch keeps time on its own between syncs, and each reconnection quietly corrects any drift.
If the watch is not bound yet, the Wearfit Pro app setup covers the first pairing on iPhone and Android.
| Setting | Where you change it | What the watch copies |
|---|---|---|
| Time and date | Phone: set date and time automatically | Exact time on every sync |
| Time zone | Phone: automatic time zone | Local time after travel |
| 12-hour or 24-hour | Wearfit Pro device settings, or the phone's time format | Clock format on digital faces |
| Date order | Phone region settings | Day and month order on faces that show the date |
| Watch language | Phone system language; some watches add a menu | Menu and alert language |
| Alarms | Wearfit Pro alarm settings | Wake-up vibrations on the wrist |
Typical behaviour of watches that run on Wearfit Pro; option names and positions vary with app version and watch model.
Some people read 7:30 PM, others read 19:30, and a watch should speak your language of time. Wearfit Pro handles the switch in one of two places, depending on version.
On iPhone, the phone's format switch is the 24-Hour Time toggle in Date & Time. On Android, it sits in the same date and time menu as Use 24-hour format.
Units travel the same way. Distance in miles or kilometres and temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius sit in the app's settings and apply at the next sync. Change them together with the time format, so the whole face speaks one system. Fresh faces to try the new format on are in the watch faces library.

A Wearfit Pro watch showing the wrong time is nearly always showing the time it was last given. Find out where the wrong time came from, and the fix follows.
| What you see | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| One hour off | Daylight saving changed, no sync since | Open the app and sync |
| Several hours off | Phone on a manual time zone after travel | Turn on automatic time zone, then sync |
| Midnight or a year-old date | Battery ran flat and the clock reset | Charge, then connect in the app |
| Minutes off after weeks | Drift with no connection | Sync once; keep the app allowed in the background |
A drained watch is the classic case. When the battery hits zero, many watches lose their clock and restart at a default time. The fix is quick: charge on the magnetic dock, open Wearfit Pro, and let it connect.
The rose gold AW83 translates spoken conversations in real time and takes local time from the phone as soon as it syncs after landing. A round case that looks as good at a gate as at dinner.
Have a lookHow to change language on a Wearfit Pro watch mirrors the clock: the watch takes it from the phone. Menus, alerts and weekday names switch to the phone's system language at the next sync, provided the watch firmware includes it.
Some models also carry a language entry in the watch's own settings menu or in the app's device settings. Where it exists, it lets the watch run in a different language from the phone.
Parents setting up a watch for a child or grandparent in another language can switch the phone briefly, sync, then switch the phone back, on watches that keep the language they last received. Test it once, because firmware differs. For the watch's own menus and buttons, see the Wearfit Pro watch manual.
A trip is where a phone-synced clock earns its keep. Land, switch the phone off flight mode, and the watch picks up local time as soon as Wearfit Pro reconnects.
The Yihou AW83 is built for this kind of day. Its AI translator supports multiple languages with real-time voice recognition, for a taxi rank, a pharmacy counter or a hotel desk. It works through the paired phone, so keep Wearfit Pro running and the phone connected to data.
On the E07 and Z17, the AI voice assistant handles questions and reminders, and the E07's ChatGPT assistant offers translation help too. For planned trips, charge fully the night before, and pack the charger; a Wearfit Pro watch without its dock cannot be topped up from a standard cable.
Connect it to Wearfit Pro on your phone. The watch copies the phone's time, date and time zone on every sync, so correct the phone first if it is wrong.
Look for the time format option in the app's device settings; if there is none, switch the phone to 24-hour time and sync the watch.
It is showing the last time it received. Sync it in the app after a daylight-saving change, a flight or a flat battery, and check the phone's automatic time settings.
Change the phone's system language and sync the watch in Wearfit Pro. Some models also have a language option in the watch or app settings.
On most models, no; the clock comes from the phone through the app. The watch keeps running on its last synced time when the phone is away.
